Invest in Hope Lodge
Help us celebrate 20+ years of the Kansas City Hope Lodge giving hope a home for cancer patients and their caregivers. Support from volunteers and local companies is critical to the American Cancer Society’s mission of providing free lodging. The Kansas City Hope Lodge is run solely on the generosity of donations, both financial and in-kind.
The Kansas City Hope Lodge offers 46 guest rooms located near cancer treatment centers and provides fully equipped community kitchens, gathering areas, community dining rooms, outdoor spaces, library and/or resource rooms, TVs and computer access and free laundry rooms stocked with supplies for guests to utilize.
In 2019 alone, the Kansas City Hope Lodge served 3,721 guests, providing 11,128 nights of free lodging to patients and their caregivers, saving families an estimated $1.9 million in hotel expenses.

The Kansas City Hope Lodge is always in need of basic supplies to keep the Hope Lodge running and feeling like a home away from home for our guests. We have shared some of our most needed items via our Amazon Wish List coming soon).

The Kansas City Hope Lodge staff are committed to providing a nurturing home away from home for our guests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Support from volunteers and local organizations is critical to the American Cancer Society’s mission of providing free lodging to cancer patients and their caregivers.
Volunteers help with daily Hope Lodge operations such as making meals, providing entertainment, planning activities, and improving the facility and grounds. Additionally, we need volunteers to drive patients to and from treatment.
